Important: the developer does not collect your personal data

• No tracking: we do not track you across apps or websites.
• No selling: we do not sell personal information.
• No monetization of user data: we have no interest in collecting your personal data and gain no benefit from doing so.

How PurpleTime works (BYOK)

PurpleTime is designed to work with BYOK (Bring Your Own Key). When you use AI features, the app sends your content (text/images/audio) to the AI provider you choose using your own API key. Any collection, retention, or processing of that content is governed by the provider’s policies and settings that you choose.

• Optional identifiers: username and (if you choose to use account features) email / parent email for child accounts.
• Security/abuse prevention: basic technical logs (e.g., IP address, user agent) when connecting to services.
• Support communications: if you email support, we will receive what you send us.

AI providers / BYOK

• Third‑party provider key: if you use your own AI provider key (e.g., OpenAI/Anthropic/DeepSeek), requests may be sent directly from your device to that provider and are governed by that provider’s policies.
• BottomUp key: if you use a BottomUp key, AI requests may be routed through a BottomUp-operated proxy for authentication, routing, security controls, and usage reporting.
• Key issuance: if you obtain a BottomUp key from BottomUp, their collection of information (e.g., email) is governed by BottomUp’s policy: BottomUp Privacy Policy.

How we use information

• Provide the service: run app features you request.
• Security: prevent fraud and unauthorized access; rate limiting; incident investigation.
• Support: respond to support requests.
• Compliance: meet legal obligations and enforce terms where applicable.
